Or, a little more than eight. Either way, I’m anxiously counting the days.
So, Here I am. One year ago I was acquainting myself with the idea of graduating and going off into the big world as Miss Marler, the schoolteacher; and also trying to understand why a mission was not for me. I’ve got a better glimpse at the big picture now, do I ever. I figured out that I was wrong, as I so often am, at planning my future. Aligning my plans with God’s eternal view has made me so happy. No, I’m not on a mission. No, I’m not going to be Miss Marler the schoolteacher… Instead, I’ll be a wife!! Instead, I’ll be Mrs. Staves the schoolteacher! That sounds so much cooler, anyways.
Life is full of surprises, I’m beginning to understand. That’s just what makes it great, even if it takes a confusion or struggles (or learning) to reach happiness. That’s why we’re here, after all.
